On Saturday 4th October, Wellingborough Amateur Boxing Club’s own Larae Tinsdeall stepped through the ropes once again — this time facing a tough opponent from Wallop Boxing Academy in the Schools Under 40kg category.
From the opening bell, Larae made his intentions clear. Controlling the pace early behind a sharp, disciplined jab, he kept his opponent at range and punished every mistake with slick counters. His composure and ring IQ shone through, showing how much he’s grown since his debut.
Coached in the corner by Charlie, Larae executed the game plan perfectly — staying composed, adjusting to the pressure, and outboxing his opponent across all three rounds to claim a unanimous decision victory.
This marks Larae’s third bout and second win, another step forward in his development and a reflection of the hard work he’s been putting in at Wellingborough ABC.
The whole team is proud of his focus, maturity, and determination — proof that consistent effort inside the gym always translates under the lights.
Keep an eye on Larae; his journey is only just beginning.
