Our People

Wellingborough Amateur Boxing Club (WABC) is proud to have built a team dedicated to transforming lives through the power of boxing. Our club provides a safe and supportive environment for young people, using the discipline and structure of boxing to foster personal development, mental well-being, and physical fitness.

Every member of our team brings something special to Wellingborough ABC, ensuring that the club continues to be a place where people can learn, grow, and achieve their goals through boxing.

Our Commitment

Our Committee and coaching staff bring a wealth of experience, ensuring that WABC remains accountable, sustainable, impactful & adhere to England Boxing’s rules. The team is driven by a shared belief that every young person deserves an opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

Through our work, we provide structured mentorship, training, and development programs, such as Box Champions, which combines boxing with psychology-informed mentoring.

Alongside this, we run a variety of boxing sessions to cater to different age groups, skill levels, and training goals, including:

  • Kids’ Boxing Sessions – Designed for younger participants to introduce them to the sport in a fun, safe, and structured environment, helping to develop confidence, coordination, and discipline.
  • General Boxing Sessions – Open to all, providing structured training to develop skills, fitness, and confidence, whether for recreational purposes or personal improvement.
  • Competitive Boxers’ Training – Tailored for those who wish to compete, with a focus on sparring, advanced technical drills, conditioning, and fight preparation.
  • Adult Boxing Sessions – Aimed at those looking to train for fitness, competition, or simply to stay active in a positive environment.
  • Women’s-Only Sessions – A safe and supportive space for women of all skill levels to train and build confidence in boxing.

Our dedicated volunteers and support staff play an essential role in our mission, ensuring that our programs continue to grow and positively impact the lives of those in Wellingborough and beyond.

Meet the team and be part of our journey to inspire and empower the next generation through boxing.

We are very grateful for the support of the trusts, foundations, companies, individuals, and other funders that have made our important work with young people possible.
